Peter Thompson

Peter began his Toastmaster journey in 2006, starting with a foundational training course and advancing through three additional levels of exams to earn the distinguished title of Fellow with the National Association of Toastmasters.

He considers it a great honour to have served as President of the Association from 2015 to 2016 and again from 2020 to 2022.

Peter is also delighted to be a member of the prestigious Society of London Toastmasters.

Before the big day, Peters like to meet with couples to understand their vision and ensure that every detail is covered.

This helps him liaise with suppliers and everyone involved, so you can relax knowing you have a ‘wedding angel’ on your side.

Peter is also available for any last-minute advice or questions as the day approaches.​

Some of the things Peter will do during the day may include:

• Arrive early to check the venue.

• Greet and direct guests and assist with cards and presents.

• Assist with gathering guests for group photographs

• Constantly liaise with suppliers and venue staff.

• Discretely remind the wedding party where they need to be and what is about to happen at any stage.

• Coordinate and announce the opening dance.

• Liaise with speakers and coordinate and announce the speeches.

• Announce and coordinate the cake cutting ceremony.

• Keep a discreet eye on the time and gently ease things along if necessary

• ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING ELSE to make the day a success
